You will probably want to bring flip flps or sandals of some sort to wear in the shower.

The welcome letter includes emergency phone numbers, but there is also a phone at the HQ building. We will have someone nearby most of the time, but there is no guarantee: 417-451-3725
Also, parents, friends, and families may send their cadet brief emails at cadets.mowgencampment@gmail.com . Staff may be emailed at staff.mowgencampment@gmail.com . These emails will be screened and seen by several staff members on the way to your cadet or staff person, so please don't include anything too personal. They will not be able to return your email.

For all emails and blog activity, please be aware that Camp Crowder poses some unique problems such as lack of internet access. The blog may not be updated daily and emails may take a day or two to deliver.
Welcome Packet Information
All basic attendees will receive a welcome packet, including this welcome letter, the equipment list (here for HTML version), and a map to camp crowder.
Cadet Staff and Senior Staff are expected to arrive on the evening of July 25th so that training may continue early on Saturday morning. There will be no training on Friday, and dinner will not be served. Cadet Staff and Senior Staff are expected to remain for a special meeting and dismissal on August 2nd following the departure of all basic cadets.
Basic Cadets should arrive between 1300 and 1500 (1 and 3 PM) on Sunday, July 27th. Graduation and dismissal will be on August 2nd at 1300 (1 PM). More information is in the welcome letter.
Camp Crowder is located South of Neosho, MO. We recommend that you use MapQuest, Yahoo Maps, Google Maps, or some other mapping software to give you more specific directions to Neosho. This is a map of the local area and Camp Crowder. Here are written directions.
